The Pink India brand
Pink India is a brand from Kumamoto (Kyushu / Japan). They offer various items such as bags, umbrellas, clothes, wallets, cases for iPhones, made from fabrics printed by hand in India. A Swedish designer based in Bangalore creates the designs of the fabrics.
Pink India sells its products mainly online and in pop-up stores in various shopping centres in Japan.
Pink India Laboratory, the shop
In 2014 the brand had the opportunity to open a long term shop, which they called PINK INDIA LABORATORY. It was located on the ground floor of the PARCO shopping centre in Kumamoto. They also offered other brands with the same vision.
Logo redesign and new business cards
On this occasion, they commissioned me to redesign the main logo of the brand and to develop it for PINK INDIA LABORATORY.
I also created new business cards and shop cards. We printed them in letterpress in black, pink and white on Kraft cardboard.
I used one of the brand’s iconic designs as a backdrop for the cards.
