Chocolate and pastry shop brand identity

My Sweet chocolate and pastry shop

My Sweet is an artisanal chocolate and pastry shop founded by Bastien and Hiroko in the canton of Valais, Switzerland.

With a deep passion for their craft, they create exquisite chocolates using only the finest ingredients, blending tradition and expertise to offer a truly indulgent experience.

The chocolate shop brand identity and packaging

Bastien and Hiroko asked me to create a visual identity and packaging that embody simplicity, creativity, gentleness, and high quality.
They aimed to achieve a fresh, modern, yet elegant look while avoiding overly traditional aesthetics.

Key elements they requested included the color orange and brushstrokes as a nod to Japan, where they first met.

Bringing Their Vision to Life: My Creative Approach

To reflect Bastien and Hiroko’s vision, I paired a modern, unconventional typeface with soft curves alongside a cocoa pod motif illustrated in a vintage engraving style. This contrast balances freshness and modernity with a sense of craftsmanship and expertise.

I reimagined the brushstrokes as traces of melted chocolate, adding a dynamic and artisanal touch.

For the color palette, I selected a light shade of orange to complement the rich chocolate tones, reinforcing the brand’s warmth and elegance.
